Tower mirror won't fit in garage!

So I just got an airboom tower mirror for my SAN and I love it. The only problem is that I can't seem to find a good spot on the tower to mount it where I get:

a) good visibility
b) garage clearance / tower collapsibility

The airboom mirror doesn't really have any adjustability but I like the look a lot and since it was a gift not a lot I can do. Any advice. Here is a picture where it is mount currently. The mirror is about 1-2" higher than the highest points on the tower when collapsed (back of the tower where the knobs are). The simple answer is to lower it a bit but if I do that the mirror will no longer be level. Help!

The only thing I can think of is to mount it upside down. I bet that would put the mirror way too low though.

That arm seems shorter then the one from CC . I was wondering about mounting it on the collapsable arm and if if would interfer when its lowered. Did'nt think about mounting it where you've got it.

I tired mounting it on the collapsible part but it does interfere when the tower is down. I might try and make a spacer to put between the bow and tower to keep the mirror clear. I think the boat would fit with that but I haven't tried it yet.

Sell it and get the Monstertower mirror with the quick disconnect, I have one and it works great. Not quite as nice looking but clean, simple and effective.

How does the official CC towermirror work?? I like it low when the tower is collapsed, but the hassle to take the mirror off every time you have to collaps the tower seems not the right sollution...
