Does anyone have suggestions on the best carb available to achieve the most HP out of my 1991 Ford 351 engine. I heard it would help to add a spaced as well. The boat runs great, just thinks its time to upgrade and want the most bang for my buck. Thanks for the help.

No need to change out the stock 600cfm 4160. It will support a good bit more hp than the stock engine puts out.
You wont pick up any noticeable performance by swapping to a new carb alone, unless your old one had major issues.1990 Ski Nautique

Call Jody Seal at Florida inboards and have him get you a PCM calibrated Holley 4160 600cfm. You do not need a larger carb for the 351 even if it's the HO version.

Its possible that it might help very slightly, but the benefit will be so small that you probably wouldnt be able to measure it.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish?1990 Ski Nautique

the carb will only flow the amount of air an engine can pump the stock carb is more then enough. an aftermarket high rise dual plane intake would do alot. more labor to change but less money to buy a good intake. i just put a holley high rise on my excel and ported the stock heads and rebuilt the factory carb and there is a night and difference in power.
