Why the change in prop rotation (2007)

I am sure CC has a reason for changing the rotation from RH to LH but not sure why. Does it improve surfing on the port side? Better backing ability? Just curious.

Maybe it was because they went to the all-in-one v-drive/tranny combo doodad.

Yes, it's because they went from the Walter v-drive to the PCM unit

For some reason I ways thought it had something to do for slalomers. I can dock both ways, but it would be kinda nice to have the choice depending in where/how you put your boat.

Originally, one of the reasons for right hand props was to counter for the drivers weight. Before the transmissions could go either way the only way to spin the prop right was to spin the motor Bacerds (right hand), this applied to Chevy's, Fords, Chrysler's, etc.
