In my opinion once the rumor is out there the damage is done. This hold true for any manufacture. Here is an example of why I say that: If someone was thinking of getting boat "A" but hears a rumor about boat "B" he does not have the facts to make a decision and then does nothing....waiting for some facts. But maybe if he had some details he would decide that boat "B" is not for him and get boat "A". It is a tough situation to be in either way you look at it. Tough for dealers....Tough for customers....and tough for the manufactures.

I'm with you because I know that i'm probaly going to purchase a new boat in 2006, it will either be another Malibu Wakesetter VLX, a 210. I really want to drive the 211 and know I would like to know as much information about the remored 220 as I can.

Totally agree... and you as a rep are in a worse spot. If I were your customer buying a 210 and they come out with a new model in 3-6 months... not good for you, as in why didn't you tell me? Puts you in a bad spot.
Auto makers? New or "slated" for "07" ?? I realize they don't sell as many boats as cars, but perhaps it's the way to go. In my industry, we give peeks at trade shows. The equipment is slated as "in development" with a target release date - but with a don't count on it attitude. I've seen many a machine fail in testing, and delayed a year or never put out.
I realize that CC has limited production capabilities. Are they sold out for the year yet? Last year it seemed real early. Perhaps that's the time to release the news. The person who said \"Money can\'t buy happiness\" never rode behind an \"OLD\" 210.

Just to put my $.02 in but the rumor is true. I got this from a very reliable source and its schduled to come out this fall. I have also heard from the same source that correct craft is going to be getting rid of some of their boats and replacing them with newer ones once the new factory gets running. For all of the 210 owners out there, they are not, I repeat not getting rid of the 210.

I love the possiblity of a new 22. I hope it's actually 22'9" or greater with a 102 inch beam or greater. Lets face it, most of us aren't burning the tour up with our wakeboard skills. When I put 90 peeps toes in my 21, the boat is packed. There isn't enough storage for 5 people let alone the max 9. Yeah, they already have a searay, I mean the 226, in the lineup, but come on, lose the walk through, and give me the look of the 21, ( reach around window, low towboat profile, swivel board board rack, ). I love the 21, however with kids, and friends, my capacity is maxed out. The X45 is looking nice! 18 person capacity. 1000lbs ballast. Problem is I'm a nautique kind a guy. What to do?

Andy, CC got rave reviews for the transom walkthru. And i still think CC is bringing back the FISH nautique, no - the Martinique, that's right - the Riviera! Love rumors. OF\"The voices aren\'t real...but they have some good ideas.\"

And....someone was right, CC needs to catch up on length & beam. But they need to "get ahead of the curve", not follow it. imo think this new Prez will help w/ that.\"The voices aren\'t real...but they have some good ideas.\"

Any more news on this? I have heard that it is going to be a 230, and not a 220. Possibly a 2007 and not a 2006. Oh well, I guess we will not know until it actually arrives at dealers.
I must say that being a traditionalist I have not been willing to upgrade to a 211 or a 226 b/c I do not like the walkthru stern, and the wakes are not as a abrupt. If this boat is a 210 stretched, I will put my deposit in today.2001 Super Air

you may not, repeat, may not, sell Shamu.
However, if it retains the look and lines of the 210 and is just bigger, it will sell like crazy. seems to me CC is the only company left that makes a ski boat that looks like a ski boat and not a sea ray. (no offense sea ray).
and please bring back the fish nautique. please. really.

YEAH MATT, you tell 'em! And maybe they'll include the "Cuddy Nautique". In retrospect, i guess the Fish was their 1st "liner" boat (OR was the deck over the a liner?); OR, who cares!? OF\"The voices aren\'t real...but they have some good ideas.\"
