Throttle control question

I have a 1987 2001 that I recently gave a "face lift"! I am looking to update the throttle arm/assembly, does anyone know if they make a newer style that will work with the the older nautiques? The original is very sticky and has lost that smooth new feel. The wood throttle arm shifter knob disintegrated and is hurting my palm I can't seem to find anything locally that will work(Seattle area), any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
