I just picked up my new 05 SAN Team and I can't find both drain plugs. I found the one under the swim platform but isn't there one somewhere else on the boat. I use to own a Wakesetter and they had one under the back seat. I looked under the boat and couldn't find another drain hole. Also I hooked up the garden hose to the back of the boat and turned the water on to start up the boat and the water came out of the scoop under the boat. I am assuming that this is normal. Some feedback would be helpfull before I take my boat out on Saturday. Thanks

Right in the center between the drivers and passanger seat, there should be a little door there and a drain plug down there. It is where the battery is on the 216, and I think the belly ballast for you.

There is only one drain plug on the 210 and you have already found it. I am not exactly sure where you hooked up the garden hose but it sounds like you had water coming out of the exhaust which is completely normal. If you had no water coming out, that would lean to concern. Congrats on the new purchase! I am headed to your other thread to actually see it now.

The water only came through the exhaust when I turned the boat on. Before I turned on the boat the water was coming out one of the scoops under the boat. I was assuming that this is where the water comes in to cool the engine.

the water coming out of the scoops on the bottom is residual water from either the ballast tanks or the main water intake. You are correct that the water coming out of the exhaust is the water that has run through the engine to cool it. Your boat should have been water tested by the dealer before you picked it up and I would assume when you picked it up, you went for a ride with them as well so that is why there was water dripping out of the scoops.

The water doesn't drip out of the scoop on the bottom of the boat, it pours out when I turn on the hose. If I don't turn on the hose no water comes out of the scoop. I didn't get to water test the boat. I bought the boat from good friends who live 4 hours away and they will take care of any prob. I am actully going to call them tomorrow but I figured I would ask you and anyone else who might already know the answer to my question.

and since I haven't picked up my 211.. does it have similar hookups??? I just bought a FlushPro to install and wondering if I really need it for this model???

I am hooking the hose up to the fresh water flush on the transom of the boat. It was an extra option I added.

Can I see a picture of this? I didn't even know that was an option. JeffSV211, You can run the boat without a flushpro kit but it might not hurt to install. Just make sure you get all lines sealed up well so that you don't suck in any air after installation.

Well, if it isn't Rick Miller. I knew this had to be someone that I had at least heard of when I saw Waynesboro. That's where I'm from. Heard your name quite a bit over on EORG.

Let's see some pictures of this new boat of yours (especially this fresh water flush of which you speak).

EDIT: Just found your other thread with some shots. Looks great! I'd still like to see a picture of this fresh water flush. Is it similar to a Flush-Pro?

When I hook up my boat with a hose the water also pours out of the water intake when it itsn't running. Nothing to worry about, the hose is hooked up just above the intake, so when the engine isn't running the water won't flow through the enging, it just goes back out the intake. There is no concern.
