    Overall boat detailing

Hey guys, I bought an 05 SV211 TE a month ago and the dealer did a great job of detailing it and making the boat look factory brand new. There isn't a spot or blemish in the boat and I'd like to keep it that way.

I'm curious as to what products you guys are using. I've seen the 303 suggested but I'm not sure if that's just the protectant or the cleaner as well. Overall I just want to protect and shine my interior and fiberglass.

I've noticed the vinyl is quick to pick up dirt from feet and shoes and it's not easy to get back out.

303 is a protectant. Use it.

try not to get shoes on the vinyl.

basic boat cleaning soap and water and then protectant should suffice if you clean it every trip.

Do NOT use a magic eraser.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure (control what comes aboard)

There are numerous threads on cleaning boats and what products to use. Its worth the time to find and read them.

Thanks tower, I searched them and found suggestions. The search function doesn't seem to like the "303" search term. The threads I found on detailing just said "follow up with 303" but I found 303 cleaner & 303 protectant.

      Thanks for the info

Do you guys put the 303 on everything or just the vinyl?

I use 303 cleaner when the vinyl gets soiled. I use the 303 protectant every 3-4 trips to the lake, this is once a month in my world. I use babes spot remover while the boat is till wet and follow-up with babes spray wax. I will be waxing the boat twice a year w/ Collinite to keep the shine deep and glossy. Lastly, we wash the windows with vinegar windex and very fine steel wool to remove the hard water spots if needed. All of the cleaning is done once the boat is pulled from the lake before we head home. Once I get the boat back to storage, I have a vacuum that hangs on the wall next to the boat. I finish by vacuuming the interior and pulling all cushions and hatches to let the boat breathe. Welcome to the family and congrats!!

All Boat Bling products. The vinyl sauce and conditioner sauce is great for interior cleaning and protection. Hot Sauce is great for wipe down after every use. I have not had the chance to use the quickie sauce which is a wax product, may try it soon. I've been very happy with everything from this company, not chep though but worth it.
