Well, 03 guy wont go lower than $21,500 and hubby doesn't want to spend that much. The 2000 guy wants to jack the price up to $19,500. The 2001 is most likely sold. Now all that's left is the 99 with the funky tower. Low hours and in good shape. Should I go for it or wait for something else to go on the market?

Talk the hubby into into the '03 I'd try one more time on that one with the owner too. It's hard to say no to a solid offer if the buyer is standing there with a truck an cash! The guy with the 2000 is crazy btw.

With some explaning, maybe you could sway your hubby to loosen up the purse strings? My wife just sold me on a Bugaboo Chameleon by explaining the benefits - my first answer was a firm *** no! I bet 99% of PN is wondering what that little piece of gear even is

If all else fails, that '99 is a great looking boat, and a great hull. Yank that stupid tower and you're golden!

I'm starting to think I'm never going to find the boat I want nearby. I know I'm probably being impatient! What do you guys think about a Sport Nautique? Like I said, I'm not a hard core slalom skier anymore but I still want a great wake. What do you think of this 94?

                Or this 95 SN:

Should I just wait for a 97and above?

                Here's a 97 SNOB with 780 hours about 4 1/2 hours away:

                Thanks!

You definitely want to have a TSC hull. 97 or newer. I wish you were closer to Texas. I am thinking about selling my low hours 97 Ski. I have the GT-40 and it's been great. I know the other motors are good, but when there is a problem the wealth of knowledge you will find on here and other forums regarding the GT-40 is invaluable. I have kids now and they want to wakeboard and bring friends on the boat. Probably the only reason I haven't listed is that I LOVE my boat and can't bring myself to let my baby go. Mine is low hours, but has never missed a season. It just didn't get used very much when the kids were in diapers. Watch out for low hour boats that may have set up. Not always a bad thing, but you want all of the kinks worked out before it's in your hands. Don't settle for something that you don't really want. You'll kick yourself later for jumping the gun. The right boat will pop up. We are about to enter the boat selling season. You could always take a road trip to Texas.

So the TSC hull is only on 97 and newer? I really like the bubble back on those better any way. Thanks.

Yes the TSC hull started in 97. The bubble back TSC 1 was made from 1997-2001, with the exception of the 2002 open bow. It was still the TSC 1 hull, but the closed bow 2002 was built on the TSC 2 hull. There were three variations on that hull that went through 2009. Everyone has their opinion on which is best. Obviously a 2009 is going to cost more than a 1997, but all are very good. If you are in the market for a slalom boat, start at 1997 if your budget permits.

97 is what I want, I had one about 6 years ago and loved it. Hard to find though! Thanks for the breakdown of the TSC hull.
