Z5 Mirror bracket?

Do they make a clamp for mounting a mirror to the Z5? I rigged the windshield mount to the Z5, but it is such a heavy bracket and of course not made for this use.

Before I make my own, I was wondering if anyone has seen a bracket made for the Z5. Thanks.

Unique idea. I would call the guys at z5; they were helpful when I wanted strap extensions for tying down surf boards and extensions for a friend of mine that needed to fit the top around wet sounds. Do you trialer the boat and if so how do you plan to store the mirror went on the road?

Good thought. I will call the folks at Z5. I fortunately do not trailer my boat. But I think you could fold the mirror up with the right bracket and have a retaining strap to keep it folded up while trailering.

Can you tell me if a person 6'2 can stand under the Z5 in a G23 without hitting their head?

I am 5'8" and I can fit under the Z5, except I hit my head passing to the bow on the front edge. I had over 6'2" under on my X-star bimini. But honestly, the protection from sun and rain is so much better with a lower bimini, that I would not go bake to a tall bimini.

I am not sure how the Z5 worked with the previous generation towers, but you can not fold the new tower all the way down due to the Z5 side brackets. Taking the bimini off gets you close, but the starboard Z5 adapter brace hits the driver's arm rest before the tower is all the way down.

Can you post some pics of how you attached that mirror? I really like this idea. (The only bad thing about the new style towers is that I REALLY liked my mirror attached to the tower instead of the windshield.

I am just using the windshield bracket for the Nautique deluxe mirror. It works, but not a great solution. I will post images of the bracket I make or find that works better.
