    Trade for newer boat

I have noticed that a lot of you trade up very two to three years. My dealer offered me what I consider a great deal on a new 230 that would upgrade me two years but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. It maybe to late as the 2013 are coming out. I would love to get into the G23 but can't see putting that much more money in a boat, probably another $45k. I like the 2010 that I have and every thing is just the way I want it. Upgrading would mean starting all over with new z5 ($4k), fresh air exhaust ($500) and changing out the integrated sacks (two hours) and what else. My question is for those who upgrade, why do you do it? What are the advantages and drawbacks that you have experienced?

I upgrade because I like the newest options and looks. I personally wouldn't upgrade if I had the newest looks. I had an 07 and upgraded to the 12

Same here. I like to upgrade when there are substantial changes made to the boat. That said, the way pricing has increased I've probably bought my last Nautique for quite awhile. Getting hard to justify and afford to be honest.
