    OK , IT'S an 02 , IT'S an 02, no IT'S A SKI TIQUE.... And guess what ...
    IT AIN'T GOT NO TRUNK.
AAAUUUGGGHHH!!! Maybe I'll stop by the Chevrolet dealership and get some Z-71 stickers for my Standard 2WD truck and try to pass it off as a combo package.
Seriously though. Here's the scoop. The boat is nice. With 600lbs of lead, $3,500 worth of stereo, perfect pass, 5 children, a great wife, good friends, a full cooler of my favorite beverage, and the greatest part...
IT'S PAID FOR, IT'S mine, mine, all mine...hehehehehehe

Thanks for the chats guys, it's been fun.. No hard feelings I hope.

Franz, I'm sorry that I offended you. I was primarily speaking of the yellow "Air" that was on the 1st page. I have never seen one before, didn't see it in the catalogue. Didn't know it was available. My sincerest apologies, but seriously, there's no reason to get your panties all in a bunch. I did some research on correctcraftfan.com, and didn't find an "air 196" until model year 2002 brochures. We have already made the point that it doesn't have a trunk because its just a Ski Nautique with a tower, much as a Air is just a Sport Nautique with a tower.

Honestly, it's not like I'm an idiot, or that I didn't research my theory extensively (I even used the wayback machine to look up CC's website for 01, couldn't find any file names like "air 196" only "Super Air Nautique", "Air Nautique" and "Pro Air Nautique".)

It stuck out like a sore thumb to me when I saw that ad, I cringed, much as I cringe when I see someone selling a Audi Coupe GT as an AWD car. (However for the record they did make an AWD coupe that was N/A like the 4000 Quattros (Same body style as Coupe GT's). However none exist in the United States.)

Again, my apologies, no harm meant. Also actually if I wanted to be a dick about it, the boat is still a Ski Nautique, but its equipped with the "Air" package. If you look on your capacity plate I would imagine that it would say "2001 Ski Nautique" or something very close to that. Just as Super Air Nautique's capacity plates read: "(Model Year) Super Sport Nautique".
Although the whole condescending tone of your posts don't really work for me...

Alan-S, what kind of Audi was it?
      How about \"Chales\"?

Franz and I were just talking about this, his capacity plate says 2001 Air 196, but then I guess you would know better from Oregon then Franz would looking at the boat in North Carolina. I got news for you, you are being a dick about it.

Alright FatBoy, whatever you say. I admitted that I was wrong no offense intended. Have fun getting your panties all in a bunch.

I'm sorry that you have nothing better to do with your time then try and make an argument with me about a boat that "correct craft added at the end of the 01 model year"

Point is, you're getting your panties in a bunch over what? a name, some stickers, and a tower?

Have a good day, It's nice and sunny out here in Oregon. Enjoy stressing out over small technicalities that I could honestly care less about.

Oh yeah, and lets not forget todays lesson: Never question ANYTHING!

Geez guys, it's just a boat. Let's not get bent out of shape about it.
                DRAGON88, no apology necessary.

Dragon88, it was a 2004 TT 3.2 DSG S-Line Quattro Coupe. There are not a whole lot of 3.2s out there and I have never seen a 3.2 S-line except for mine. The S-line package is supposed to just be for the A6's in 2004. Mine def. had the S-line package though, that is what was in question. I am sure when I go to sell my 2005 330ci (ZHP) coupe, I will get the same problem, since the ZHP is primarily for the sedans, basically a M3 with 85 less horses.

                      Hello Franz,
could I ask you where you put the 600lbs of lead, I am looking into that to try getting rid of some fatsac... these things work great but definitely take too much space in the boat.. Also if you have any recomandation either where you took your lead or how you had it fit in the boat...
                      thanks.

                        Good morning icewake,
I have 40lb. bars that that I made from melted tire weights. They are about 10" x 4" x 2" and fit nicely between the back seat and the fuel tank. I have 10 bars in the back and 3 more in the front storage area under the bow. With this weight and an average of six people in the boat, the wake has a nice ramp and does not wash over.

                          icewake,
check out the pics of the yellow 196 and my black and neutral 196. You can see where the FCT mounts behind the cupholders.

Hello Franz, could you send me a link to the pic that shows that? I think I am not looking at the right boat... cause your cup holder don`t seem to be at the same place as mine... but then again i will be looking at that tonight when I get home.

Btw how much is a FCT in the states? I am based in Quebec, Canada and I want to see if it's cheaper to buy it there or not... we have 15% sales tax just that hurts...lol
