    New 210 wake for boarding

Hey all, I bought a new 2012 SAN210TE and while out boarding with friends I can't seem to make my wake the same as the video on the Nautique site. Does that video show a boat with extra ballast? I can't seem to make a wake like that.

    Any clues would be great!

What is different about it? Size, shape, wakeboarding wake, surfing wake, etc.

Keep in mind if size is your problem, the people on the Nautique site that are riding behind it are probably about 5'7 tall and 160 lbs. and that tends to skew how big the wake looks next to a normal person. Also, angle of video/picture has a huge amount to do with it too.....

I have no idea how they weight the boat in the video. However, stock is unimpressive.

FWIW, I put in a Fatsac piggyback set up...so I run stock plus about 400-500lbs of add'l water in the rear compartments, 150lbs of lead under the middle seats, 100lbs of lead under the front seats, and about 250lbs of water in the ski locker. Total 900-1000lbs + 850lbs stock = 1750-1850 with a bias toward the rear. The wake is pretty big and pretty steep (though not as steep as the old 210 hull). It's clean at 75' slower than any of us ride (IIRC, slowest is about 22 mph, though most ride between 23 and 24...where it's clean back to at least 85', which is the longest any of my friends ride).

Your hull is fairly sensitive to weight placement front-to-rear....more in the rear = steeper. I like steeper, but you pay the price wrt time-to-plane.

Thanks xrichard. I need to add more weight obviously. I think Fatsac makes a kit for my boat. It adds about 1500-1600lbs of weight. I guess I'm getting that installed asap!

        Thanks again!

Simple: add more weight. Add fat sacs in each rear trunk. And one in the bow. Start with that. the 210 likes a 60/40 rear/front weight distribution.
I use Skylon Fat buddies for the rear - they fit perfectly when completely filled and leave a little room towards the front for some like jackets etc. They are around 300lbs each filled.
