Anyone have any pics or first hand knowledge about the G23 surfwaves? I am curious about both sides. I saw some pics of a Wakesurf Tourn in MN being pulled by G23s but have no clue how much weight etc they were using.

G23 starboard factory tank and belly full was better than my 230 with factoy belly and starboard full, a 750 in the locker, and three people (500lbs) in the seats behind the driver. I wish I had a picture of the curl that was pushing me.2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop

Here are a couple pics of the starboard wave on my G23 at the factory setting which i believe was full starboard 3/4 belly and I forget the exact speed it was set at. I didn't get any pics of the port wave, but it was similar.
swankter did you have a better wave with full belly over the 3/4? I am still breaking mine in and have not had much time to play with it.

with the port full we ha a better wake coming off the belly to 2/3 to 1/2 .you could see the wake rise as we decreased the weight in belly this was also the case when we added 750 to the locker.but still had a great wake with just port filled, belly 2/3 and and three guys in boat which also included the driver.2013 G23 super air

I let them use my boat for the contest up here in MN. They just used mine for the goofy riders and then Adam Wensink's for the regular surfers.
Here is the setup that they used for the goofy riders:
Factory in the rear, 5/8 belly, and a 250 under the starboard midship seat and starboard bow. They had 7 people in the boat (I'd put them at an average of 140 pounds each), who all decided to sit in the rear corner, which shortened the wave, so they took some out of the rear and it cleaned it back up, you also might have to go a touch faster. With the goofy wave, the NCRS will crumble the wave if you go 2 or under.
Hopefully this helps.Last edited by ironj32; 08-23-2012, 07:03 AM.2018 SAN G23 XR550

Thanks for the quick responses. Would love to see any more pics you guys have. Have been looking to get a little bigger and better surf boat. We have been running 1200 lbs on port side and 300 in locker on top of factory in our 210 but dont really care for the amount of list it has. Running less on goofy for the kids but they are growing fast. We have looked at the Tige z3 which is around 80k and has nice surf wave on both sides, but hadnt seen many folks talking about the g23 surfing till I saw Towanzas pics on Facebook. I want one we can swap sides quickly and easily and not have bags sitting on the seats. G23 is a sweet ride for sure

Also the surf wake is great from both sides, pumps can empty and fill in about 10-12 minutes switching from port to starboard surf. Also, the boat loaded up for surfing handles extremely well. Its not like turning around a boat that is all overloaded, slow and heavy.
I can say spending $150K on a boat is very excessive and hard to wrap my head around. It just doesn't make financial sense. After riding behind one I could buy without remorse. Everything about the boat is that good.
