    Props

My boat is almost done being repaired, I'm supposed to pick it up tomorrow. The dealer said they ordered the wrong rotation prop and need to return it and get the right one, but they are loaning me another prop until that happens.

I'm not well versed on props and am curious as to what he is loaning me. He said my old prop was a 14x16 Acme, that would be the 1591 right? Assuming it's stock. He said he will loan me a 14x18 Acme. but Acme's site didn't show a 14x18 (it shows a 14 x 17.75) so I'm guessing its the 2003? anyone have any thoughts on this and what are the differences?

    Stock prop on my '05 210 TE that I just sold was a 644 (13.25 x 16) - I think it's the same for '04. I upgraded to a 1236 (13.5 x 14.25). I've never heard of anyone putting a 14" diameter prop on an OG 210. I've gotta think it's too big to fit.

As far as pitch - 18" pitch is A LOT! I'm not even sure that will get out of the hole with stock ballast. The least aggressive prop I've ever heard of being on that boat was a Acme 380 (13.5 x 17.5)

Your boat has right hand rotation, so the Acme part number will end in an even number.

Sorry a/b the brain fart rotation thing. So is there a stamp on the props to see which one the old one is?

Should I assume he didn't tell me the measurement exactly and what he was calling 14x16 was the 644? I never thought my boat didn't have a stock prop.

The part number and dimensions are stamped on the prop.
