Happened to me 2 weeks ago. They are cheap at Nautiqueparts.com. Just order the set so you have an extra main belt also. One bolt on the GT40 and use a prybar to pull the alternator back. One and done don't over tighten. Good Luck.

Is there a number on it that is not PCM? Better to cross it over from the number. Generally, the number indicates the length.

If it doesn't have a number, better to order from nautiqueparts.com. Then, if you insist, you could have it measured at the parts house with the proper measuring tool.

I don't recommend measuring a broken belt or worn out belt unless your just putting it on to get home then replace with the proper one.

The belt reads 7400 GATES XL and has a 11A1015 - is that a PCM number? How would I check?

Gates is the manufacturer. They make almost all belts and about the best quality. Your local Napa should be able to get it for you.

7 is the width and 400 is the nominal length. If you were happy with that one, go get another.

I'm pretty sure 11A1015 is the pcm number. More to follow.

Looking at the Gates interchange that 11A1015 is a metric number and crosses to:

Edit. I missed the 7400 XL.
