They go all the way back to the 30's, there aren't too many kinds of boats they haven't made. That's interesting though, I've seen open and closed bow Martinique's, but never one with a Cuddy. Kind of a shame to mess that up with a cheap tower and make a ghetto wakeboat out of it.

You know, I was thinking the same thing....then thinking how I could get one of the guys in Kemah or Rockport to throw together a combo wakeboard/tuna tower with rocket launcher rod holders and spinner racks. Then add trim tabs for planing vs surfing. I could make that one heck of a weekend party boat down at my dad's place in Rockport. The cuddy gets miserable with any seas but it is a good cheap place to spend the night if you drive down to your pier the night before.
All that is missing from that one is the Big Block...yes I said Big Block. That was probably an option back then.
I thought I'd seen every boat they had ever made, but I've never seen this one.
Ha, I suspect you may not be quite the expert you thought you were... the late 80's Martiniques and Rivieras dont register very high on the obscurity scale.
The metal bridge erector boats built in the 40's, or the 35'+ wooden yachts CC made for a short period in the early 50's, sure. Id rank their tri-hull outboard and I/O runabouts as odder ducks as well.
Yeah, I'd definitely take that tower off. It'd just be my cruising around - party boat. It'd be a good place for my infant son to take a nap in the afternoon.

Don't forget about the Fish Nautique (fairly common) and the Bass Nautique.
