I've seen other posts on the valve subject. Does anyone have a picture of this replacement someone has found & installed? OF

      RE: oem wholesale

I just wanted to share some of the pics after installing the T/H valves. I also included one in case any of you have ideas how to fix it. Correct craft only sell a kit for the port helm control (manual flip switch) for 50.00. All I need is the shaft and knob . I hate this cable system for these valves. The PORT cable running from driver to port valve has red tape on both ends - it just so happens that is the one that always give me troubles. Its a 2004 210. I am going to try and fabricate something before buying. Any idea how to make the cables slide easier? I have lubed them and still a little difficult.

In the picture you will see I replaced my ballast fill hoses with clear hose - don't ask why - I don't really know other than I wanted to see the water fill - yes stupid. When I was done I just said "what the heck am I doing", so I went and broke something so I have something constructive to do .

        Looks good JWH.

I'll bet your belly tank fills faster than your rear tanks, mine did, it bugged me until I figured out why. Notice that the factory installs the belly tank valve after the pump. The rear tank valves are installed before the pumps. The valves are the most restrictive component in the plumbing system, it works better to have the restriction after the pump (high pressure side). To improve the operation of the ballast system in my 2005 I moved the rear pumps to just behind the manual valves. Now it works faster.

Can anyone confirm if these valves work for a 01? Also, it has been so long since my valves worked that I forget which way is open and which is closed. If they are screwed all the way in is that open or closed? Once again this is for an 01 SAN. Thanks.

And where are these valves located? I assume in the rear by the tanks, biut can someone confirm that?

In '01 they used the valves as air traps. All they are is a vent of some sort to prevent the water from filling or allowing the air to escape, and thus the tanks to fill. You could add these valves, but it would mean reworking the system to eliminate your current valves.

Here is a site to get the knobs for a cheaper price. I ordered one form CC
without asking the price and wasn't too happy. Just peel out the port sticker
and replace it in the new knob.

Correct me if i'm wrong but the 00,01 do not have the cable valves correct. So what is the advantage to these valves for 00, 01 ?

Took some pix of my relocated pumps today, note the philips head screw near the base of the pumps, that's the one that lets you seperate the pump bases.

One more of the belly pump with the unnecessary nipple and 45 coupling removed.
