    New Tower Accesories

Does anyone know what CC and when they are planning on putting some nice FTC options like lights and speakers? Now that they are not even offering NVert Tower Speakers, they have nothing for the tower. I'm a big fan of CC but I have to admit, most other companies are way ahead of them when it comes to Tower Accessories. We are planning on getting a 216 or maybe a 210 and tower speakers and lights are a must. Should we wait until CC offers some? Or should we get after-market stuff? After-market stuff these days are nice, but it isn't like matching speakers and lights. I really think CC needs some stuff on the tower, its just too empty now...

They are working on stuff right now for the towers. They had a fall through with NVert. I think NVert couldn't supply them fast enough or something of that nature. Worse comes to worse, you can use the flight clips on there. If I hear more, I will let everyone know. I agree with you though that they need to get on the ball.

Luckely, we wont be needing wakeboard racks... we actually dont want them. What is also strange, for board racks, the dealer has to drill holes in the tower so if you want to take the racks off, you have these 4 holes in your tower that looks really bad. Does flight clips make tower speakers and lights or just board racks? if anything, we would need a hydrofoil rack...

Flight clips are provided by Correct Craft. No speakers and lights are offered yet. I did just see a new company called 13thfloortowers.com that has some neat stuff including hydrofoil racks. I think you can buy other brand racks to put on the FCT though. How soon are you going to buy a boat? Maybe CC will have something by the time you are ready to buy.

It seems that everyone wants their boat to be different than everybody elses. That is why we stock several different board racks, ski racks, hydrofoil racks, lights and speakers. Most of the manufactures of these items have brackets that will allow them to bolt right to the Flight Control Tower. No need to drill any holes. I also agree that CC needs to get with the program of branded accessories to attach on the Flight Control Tower.

one of the greatest boat adds i've ever saw was a couple years ago when you could get a colored tower, deck, and platform as well as the primary, secondary, third, accent tape, and hull color. the add was two full pages of numerous air nautiqes all with different color combos and the only text was somethign like 750,000 different color combos. i thought it was awesome that you could customize your boat like that. so they took away the colored deck and platform, but still thats more customization than any other boat company i know of. mastercraft still only has a stripe and a hull color as far as i know. thats part of what makes CC cool is that every boat is different. Tower lights and speakers just add on to that...

Personally, I would prefer that CC spend the time developing a quality trailer like MC and leave the accessories to the after market companies.

The Ram-Lin trailer is essentially what the old Correct Craft trailer was and the Ram-Lin trailers are produced at the CC factory.

Whats good about the Ram-Lin Trailers oppose to others is that you can pracitally customize anything. I.E. we like tamdom axle, painted (only if primary stripe is not black or white) and burshed aluminum wheel cover things. It looks pretty cool. The only clue that Ram-Lin trailers are ram-lin is one little "ram-lin" sticker. they even have the nautique logo on them. But if they put some tube lighting or something on it that would be cool :!:

In my region none of the dealers carry Ram-Lin trailers, all they carry are Prestige.

check with your dealer because they probably sell them but don't stock them. They are more expensive. My dealer didn't stock them for awhile because he was moving more boats with the less expensive prestige trailers. Once prestige came through with some problems for customers, the dealer started doing more business with ram-lim. The trailer is virtually bulletproof.

Luke I totally agree with CC needing to produce a quality trailer!!
                        I am ordering 2004 206 and am ordering a trailer from Trail-Rite
out of California and I Live in PA. Prestige trailers are terrible, I
just sold a 2000 air that my wife gulged the keel putting it on the trailer!!
Theirs no protection from the rear axle!! Prestige knows it and says
it the ramps slope not the trailer tell that to my wife!!
                        2004 Ski 206 Limited,Midnight Blue and Black,

Mark, I hate to say it but I don't think trail rite will be much better. Spend the money and tell your dealer that you want to order a Ram-Lin trailer. You will be very happy with this trailer

                            Mark,

I know the feeling. When I was demoing boats a salesman did the exact same thing to one of the boats I was test driving. Wish I would have known about Ram-Lin, I would have been more than willing to spend the extra $$$ and avoid all the headaches this trailer has caused.

                              Luke,
Ask your dealer if you can do a trade for the Ram-Lin. See what they say as far as price difference. It is worth a shot. Good Luck
