2012 Nautique covers, how do they fit

I have a 2012 210 with the factory cover. I thought it was supposed to cover the boat with the tower up or down. I am getting ready to store it in the garage for the winter (with a whopping 13 hours and I took delivery in June!!!!) and I cant get the cover on with the tower down, I even took the board racks off. Does this cover only work with the tower in the up position?

I've tried the same thing today to bring the boat back home, the board racks and the bimini (ott) skeleton were in the way, no time to take them off, so I've raised the tower and brought her home!

I think it's made and measured for use when the tower is up. I have to partially put my tower down ( 2011 210 ) due to the height of the roof on the dock and my tower flaps don't close all the way. I've never tried the cover with the tower all the way down. Didn't want to take the spinners off.

what I have read on this site and seen pictures, the Nautique covers for the G23 are made to fit with tower up or down with racks and speakers in place.

I can tell you that the G23 factory cover is awesome, and yes it works with the tower up or down. You do have to remove the factory bimini from the tower, but it takes about 30 seconds (two hand-knobs and two pins). I towed mine all the way from Florida to VA with the tower down and the cover on.

jeff, does the nautique cover for the g expose the pull out cleats. my new 210 2012 cover does not. i would have to add some rubber grommets and sew them in. how else would one tie off on a single dock with the cover on?

Yes they do.. it's a nice feature.
