    Surf Sac Sling

Keeping the surf sac in the seat

    Hassle

Being the only guy in JoAnn Fabrics

    Uncomfortable

Having a Mom that bought me a sewing maching and made me learn how to use it.

    Priceless!

    Thanks Mom!!!

Is that a 750? Nice job!

Maybe you can work on making yourself a dress next since surfing is such a Sally watersport, LOL

I have to come out in support of the nautique male owners with sewing machines...I own a cheap brother sewing machine too. It has come in handy for fixing many things around the hosue...Ok, also an occasional hem on the wife pants.

I would say that the picture with the red sac, the blue sling, contrasted with the wite seats was good for a chuckle. And I still ponder if putting that much weight on the seats will eventually be bad for the foam?

Make one that hangs off the side so that it doesn't intrude into interior space and you've got a real winner

Yes, it is a 750 and you definitely, need to move some beverages to the back cooler before the goofy footed people start to surf. But with only three in the boat, the wake is fantastic. I prefer to have ornamental ballast but the girls don't like to come out in the fall (especially in the bikini's we made for them). Also, it takes 7 of them to equal the sac. I'm not to worried about the cushions because the weight is spread out over the full surface, and they don't look that compacted when the sac is full. When the boat is full of people we don't use the sac, but stack as many people in the seats as we can, and I can't believe their weight is that well distributed but will find out later.

When my divorced dad (50+ at the time - now 70) set up his first bachelor pad, he put a thick "how to sew" coffee table book on his coffee table. He is a very handy/capable/resourceful man.

When people asked about the sewing book, he would reply "I'm going to learn how to sew. And when I do, I'll need a woman for one thing and one thing only."

I am guessing your Dad already knew how to cook, huh?

Yes - but mostly over an open flame....like a caveman. (nothing against cavemen - I'll bet they could sew.)
