Problem: Backing Trailier up too steep of driveway. Solution?

    I had a very similar issue. I had wheels mounted on the rear of the trailer (and braced to the frame so the load wouldn't all be transferred through the prop guard). Then, when entering/leaving, I put down two pieces of 2'x8' plywood for the rear wheels to roll across...this saved scuffing marks on the driveway as I had to turn a bit pulling out and the prop guard wheels could scuff sideways a bit.

    I believe I paid a welder a few hundred dollars for the welding/fabrication and I bought heavy duty casters at a specialty shop.

      I just spread a thick coat of butter on the cage and gas it!! Not Country Crock gotta use real butter!

        Here's mine. I also had the same problem. Got the wheels from Grainger. Rated for 1500 lbs. each. Welded them on with a friend. It's amazing how often they are used when driving around town. Click image for larger version
