G23 5 blade props

Has anyone heard anything about 5 blade props on a G23? I talked to travis moye who swears by it on his mc, but don't know about on a G23

I tried it and didn't get the greatest results (with stock ballast, plus an additional 2200 lbs of ballast). It was not any better out of the hole, and I was at about 5200 rpms at the 23/24 mph range. It vibrated like a mofo from 12-20 mph, then vibrations went a way (didn't vibrate at all with an empty boat). Acme thought maybe the prop was screwed up or not seated properly with the vibration, but again, it didn't vibrate with an empty boat. If you want to run a better prop on the G23, my vote would be for the 2315.
