Thanks to Bob Bense and the other guys at Superior in Sacto for getting me back on the water. After replacing an impeller, I had a tank that still wouldn't fill. He determined that the intake valve had been shut off. (Since I've never had a reason to touch those valves, I didn't even know where to look in order to check. Now I do.) Most likely happened when I had the boat serviced by Superior, because there's a fuel filter that hides behind the intake hose. Bob agreed that his service guy likely moved the lever to get to the filter, and missed opening it back up.
While it was a hassle taking the boat back in, Bob had his guys take the time to double check that there wasn't some other problem with the tank by having his guys fill/drain the tank a couple of times. No charge for the hour or so of labor to diagnose.
Bob apologized for the hassle several times, but hey, stuff happens. It's just nice to have someone man up when there's and issue, fix it, and take responsibility.
