    G23 heated seats

Heated seat option is only available for the driver I am surprised that there is no option for observer seat etc to be heated. Especially seeing some of the other brands offering this as extras. Uk is a pretty cold place and heating in the boat is an important extra.

Oh for crying out loud........it's a BOAT, not a car! My truck also has air cooled seats too, you disappointed that your boat doesn't have that?

        Coming soon to your Nautique:

        Enhanced voice control
        Rear view camera with parktronic
Push button suspension adjustment (via trim tabs of course)
        Blind spot assist
body mist system with adjustable temperature control to cool you on super hot days
automatic hull and exterior wash down to use after you are in the lift
adjust exterior color at touch of a switch with electronic controlled nano technology...you know some days you feel like a blue boat, and sometimes crush orange, or galactic green
wait...sometimes you actually want a 21 foot boat, sometimes 23 or more...we have an app for that!

I see his point. It's a boat yes but it's Nautiques flag ship so I think it's short sighted to not offer heated passenger seat. My wife and 2 daughters are pretty coldblooded so i know it would be a favorite option on my boat if I had them!

What exactly is his point? Nautique is a crap boat because it doesn't offer this? Nautique is not catering the the UK crowd because they all want heated seats?

Not sure I understand why there is an entire thread started to simply say that Nautique doesn't have something....

I don't have a problem with thread(s) pointing out what is missing...like they should have in my 2008 a lighted tower pylon instead of the cheap crap flip up...

But it is also kind of funny how much luxury stuff is going in these.

I'm surprised at folks jumping on wakeupwindermere for pointing this out. Maybe it's just because he doesn't have many posts?

He didn't call Nautique "crap", etc....he simply said he's surprised and, by implication, disappointed. And I see his point.

Whining, complaining, etc., just gets old. But pointing out where Nautique can do better is a good thing. If Nautique didn't hear constructive criticism, we'd probably still be stuck with one-piece observers seats in wakeboard boats (which took years to finally go away). To the suggestion at hand, even in not-so-cold California, I'd like heated seats since we ride year round. If offered, things like this should be optional.

His point is, why doesn't nautique offer heated observers seats along with the heated drivers seat?

What's the problem with wondering that? Why does it offend you that somebody would want an option on their boat when it's not an option you want?

My guess for them not offering is that they don't expect many people in the boat when they are needed. The cushions in the drivers seat stay there while most others move for storage may also have something to do with it. The heating elements are fairly simple and it wouldn't be that hard to DIY if someone had to have them.

It is a pretty inexpensive DIY project. The kits are about $75 on ebay. I have considered adding it to my boat for a couple of years (and I live in Texas). Just haven't gotten around to it. But comparing the price of a seat heat kit to a traditional boat heater and considering that the seat heat kit won' rust and leave me with wet feet at some point, it doesn't strike me as something in the same category with touch screens and rear view cameras, which are things I have little desire for on a boat.

                        Simmer down now...

He may want to ask Nautique then....I doubt any of us have their strategy/marketing plans...

Don't remember being offended, I am dearly sorry if you thought my feelings were hurt here...Who said I wouldn't want it????I just wouldn't come here an ask why Nautique wouldn't offer it...

I did not see any wondering...Just a statement and being suprised....Can be taken many different ways....

Okay when I buy a wakeboard boat I pretty much look at the features on the top brands and compare them and then decide what extras i personally like. Now one part I noticed was nautique did not offer an extra on this when most of the other brands do. Not to sure why they decided not to and that is my question. This is not about catering for the uk market only and is not about extras that are not featured on most of the other brands this extra is featured on the other brands and I just noted that. Some people will not care for this extra others will that is why they put heated seats in boats now. As was pointed out i am not saying this makes this boat or brand inferior at all. If I thought that of the brand I would not own a 230 and would not be ordering a G23.

Don't see what the fuss is over. I'd like to see heated seats on the 200 as well. Driver's side will be nice, but need it for passengers as well. Gets cold skiing in the winter months. I've suggested it for years. Glad they are at least doing the driver's side. I asked them to consider it for the passenger seats.

The after market kits are inexpensive, but pulling apart the seat isn't.
