removing the seat cover....likely not that difficult (deconstruction is always the easy part).

After removing a car seat cover for the same thing several years ago AND trying to recover off road m/c seats, I'd say that it is quite difficult to get a professional look unless you do it for a living everyday (ie upholsterer).

Going to leave mine stock and let the passengers fight over the heated ducts.

The pull out duct is quite nice as you can blow the warm air right on your face and neck.

I kind of wondered about that heated passenger seat as well. We ride in the midwest from early March to mid October. Even in midsummer it can be chilly at 05:30...

I demo'd both the new X-star and the G before deciding on the G23. Was moving up from a 2006 X-Star. The X-Star offerred the heated passenger seats, but overall the G23 was better and I chose it based on many, many other factors. But It did strike me as odd. Kind of like the board racks. They are definitely not as good as those on some other boats -- but when you look at the boat as a whole, factor in the dealership -- then it is an easy decision. You might have to overlook some parts of the boat that arent quite as good as on some other models. But in the end the wake is the defining reason to choose a boat -- and the G23 had the best clean wake at 17mph that my 10 y/o daughter wants to ride, at 22.5 for myself and 13 y/o son, 23.7 for the guys I ride with who hit 5's front and backside, and an awesome surf wake for all... easy to overlook the fact that a passenger wont have a warm butt...

It would be great to pick and choose options from like the heated passenger seat and racks from Mastercraft, surf gate from Malibu, etc... but in the end the G23 seems to be the best overall, and the dealership is a huge piece of the puzzle...
