    new engine SAN210 2001

    Hello

in my boat SAN210 2001 engine was damaged completely

somewhere or buy a complete Pro boss 351 engine GT40 (long block, injection, exhaust, itc..)?

Can I put a different engine and whether there will be problems?

How else put the engine to fit and do not cost a lot?

    Thank you for your help!

The GT-40 Injection is very sensative to the engine specs. It has no way of adjusting to differences in said engine performance. You will need to go with an engine with the same style heads it had originally and close to the same stated horsepower range I.E. 310h/p

We have a few different options of placed to go through here at the shop.

Did it freeze? Hopefully you will be able to re use the intake manifold if so.

I bought the boat from the damaged engine.

What I know is bad for two weeks, and remove the engine.

Probably damaged block long, one or two injectors, cut the wires at the ECU, no starter, cracked from the bottom of the exhaust.

Sorry for my poor english language.

      Thank you for your help!

Haha, that was a rough paragraph. Hopefully everything works out well.

I would look for a repower take-out from somebody that "upgraded" to zero off with a new drive by wire motor.

Not in your area but something like this: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/boa/3326820581.html

Sorry for asking about issues that have already probably been raised, however, I live in Chicago for
the time being, I bought a broken SAN210 boat in 2001 that has to be repaired until the end of the year
as I am coming back to Europe by it. My English is poor and I asked a translator to give me a hand in
order not to search and read dozens of topics, please help.
The PCM 351W GT40 310HP MPI engine produced in 2001 got broken in my SAN210 boat. . I
decided to purchase a regenerated LONG BLOCK 351W equipped with GT40 cylinder heads. I have
            some questions concerning this matter.
            1. I have received an offer for a regenerated LONG BLOCK 351W + GT40 from
RAPIDOMARINE for $1700 and from REMAN for $2195. Are these companies any good?
Which one to choose RAPIDOMARINE or REMAN? Maybe you could recommend any other
company to regenerate a LONG BLOCK for comparable price?
            2. May I buy LONG BLOCK with GT40P cylinder heads without having issues with electronics,
especially regarding MPI injection after having assembled the GT40P cylinder heads? Or
maybe it would be better not to go too far and to stick to the casual GT40 cylinder heads?
            3. Are there any other common issues to happen during the assembly of a regenerated LONG
BLOCK, did the 351W blocks differ from each other? I am afraid that the purchased block
will be different from my MPI version block bringing on problems.
            4. Is there anything more I should do while replacing a long block, anything else to replace?
            5. My boat is equipped with “correct craft cruise speed control”, how it works? How does one
control the speed? Are there any buttons to do so? There are no additional gauges, can one
update it to the version equipped with the basic gauge and speed controller? What should I
buy to make it work right?
            6. My START/OFF keyboard is worn out, can I convert it into a typical key ignition switch + fan
            buttons?
Thank you for your help and I ask for understanding.
