Do you or have you run any of these props?

If any of you are willing to endulge me a bit longer regarding prop questions, I am looking for first hand experience. If any of you are running or have run any of the following props would you please comment on what boat, what motor, what altitude, RPM at WOT and top speed?

    Acme 668 12.5 - 15.5 - .15 (4 blade)
    Acme 654 12.5 - 15.0 - .105 (4 blade)
    Acme 422 12.5 - 15.5 - .105 (4 Blade)
    Acme 470 12.5 - 15.0 - .105 (3 blade)
    Acme 224 13.0 - 15.5 - .09 (4 blade)

    I've run the following:

99 ski nautique with GT-40, 813' above sea level, Both were similiar performance 43 mph top speed around 4500 rpms iirc.
428 – 13 X 15.5 RC OJ version of the 422--- Much different looking wake, didn't like it as well as the 422 on the tsc1 hull.
    422 - 13 x 15.5 Acme

    2005 Ski 206 with 330 hp excalibur,

Acme 422 813' elevation. 45 mph top speed, I don't recall rpms but it never hit rev limiter.
34.2 mph rpms' are 3370 ish - 3400 depending on conditions.

Haven't run the OJ, but I've been told its a better slalom pull/wake on the 206 than the Acme 422. I'm not sure I'm a believer though, but I do plan on trying it sometime.

Jsta is correct on the 422 dimensions (12.5" diam, not 13").

Ive run all of those props, save for the 224, on a mix of different hull/powertrains. Too much data to post. All are good props and none (save for the 224, which Im not familiar with) are the pancake style props that lack the aft rake I like. 3-blades and 4-blades run consistently (ie, props of the same dimensions run near identical speed vs. rpm, you wont see a significant change in numbers based on blade count). 4-blades have a very slight advantage out of the hole, 3-blades have a very slight advantage up top (all else equal). I prefer the 3's, but run both.

Beyond that, I dont think youre going to get a lot of actionable feedback on these wheels. Half the data youre likely to see is going to either be incomplete, misleading, or simply incorrect. Best case, you get good data- but much of it will be apples to oranges to what youre actually trying to learn. Its really a game of matching the one that dials in your RPM's to your particular hull, powertrain, load, ambient conditions, etc. Theyre all good props, given the proper boat and conditions.

It all starts with using your boat as intended, and documenting its existing performance with the prop you currently have... then going from there.
