I've generally heard dexcool referred to as orange and other non-silicon based antifreeze as pink. I will say dexcool color varies with the dye and age.

OT: do not mix dexcool stronger than 50:50 as it tends to jelly up and form a coating over time. At least it used to unless they fixed it.

      From the PCM manual

I'm sure the "orange" stuff is the same I'm just being hypersensitive.

I agree. Kind of confusing. I was also wondering the difference between "Dexcool" and "Dexcool compatible" that a lot of them say. If you do end up using the orange stuff I would not mix pink and orange. Stick with one color.

According to my good friend who works in a GM parts dealer dexcool orange and pink are the same. Some think it looks pink other say orange but dexcool is dexcool.
