What nyryan said. That set up is an accident waiting to happen.
Get the truck and trailer level by sorting the suspension and hitch out.
The trailer bunks appear to protrude several inches past the transom. Slide the boat back until the bunks are flush with transom.

With the G23 behind my F150 I had to get a three inch drop and turn it over to get the trailer level. Also, it was hard to find an 8000+ pound 2" ball locally. Had to order it from the web. Boatmate needs to go to a 2 5/8" on G trailers.2013 G23 450 with NSS (175hrs) and still have the original prop

if you wanna keep that F150, suggest you look into adding Roadmaster Active Suspension. You need it, that is not a safe tow. Emergency braking would be a trainwreck like that. And you don't have the hitch at the proper height, slightly above level for max braking. Is your hitchrated for 8000??
any chance you have ran your G across the scales for an actual weight?
What bran trailer is that? It looks like the boat needs to slide 6-10" to the rear to reduce tongue weight. Is that bow stop adjustable? Ubolts?

No offense to Kporsch but I hate seeing that because it puts other people on the road at risk other than just you.

It is a 2 5/8" ball. The braking action on that trailer is awesome and I can actually probably stop faster than with just the truck.
Riiiiiiiight. You've got it all under control, just a bad pic. Not only do you not have the proper hitch height, terrible squat indicating excessive tongue weight on likely and under rated hitch, and the boat not properly positioned on the trailer, case of beer says you're over your tow capacity. Big time over is if you have the 3.55 gears. Likely right at max if you have the 3.73s with full gas and a few folks and gear in your truck/boat, assuming a 8300lb boat and trailer combined tow.
Not it quite as bad as the guy towing the G25 with the 6.2L Raptor. 450hp good to go right?2019 G23 450

I will get a good pic of the truck not squatting in the spring of 2015 (which is the next time I actually plan to tow the boat). The squat is no different than the OP's first pic.

9300 is for a completely empty truck, full gas and and 175lb driver only.
Add 3-4 additional folks their bags, few tools, hitch... Your truck options and you are within 500lbs if you run a skinny boat gear wise. Not trying to be negative... Want you to be safe brother. Let one thing go wrong... Flat tire, emergency stop, bow strap break while ill balanced etc etc.2019 G23 450

Just checked the hitch on my 06 Duramax the other day, that little thing was only rated at 7500 lbs. Pretty weak I'd say. Just ordered a Curt 16,000 lb hitch online, then had to find a 16,000 lb rated receiver and ball. All Curt products. I should be up to code once getting those installed. If ya have a big boat, check your hitch. I was a bit surprised in mine.

If any of you guys want to do the single best mod you can ever do to improve your trucks towing capability.......GET SOME AIRBAGS.
I leveled my 2006 F150 so anytime I had a load on it or towed anything, the rear end squatted badly. I couldn't stand it. So I did some research and found an auto leveling kit with Airlift bags. IT WAS AWESOME!
Because I had the bags always loaded with 10lbs of air, to keep it at the desired level when not under load, it had a wonderful side effect that greatly Improved ride quality of my truck. It all but wiped out the rear end chatter that is prone to leaf spring equipped trucks when not under load.
Take a look at the pics.
No load, leveled. Set up with 10lbs of air at all times.
Heres the terrible squat when the the boat was hooked up. The air bags had not inflated yet.
Now, here is is 10 seconds after the key is turned on. Its auto lifts to level.
A $750 wellllllllll spent.
