Is there any possibility of engine damage from taking too much water over the back?

From what I've experienced, there wouldn't be enough to harm the engine. Goes straight to the floor and out the bilge; god help me I'm goin Black Friday shopping here in Branson with the wife and in laws!!

My 230 wake will come over the bow when you turn around at slow speeds. We have to just bump the throttle.
