I love the look of that wave! You rider is really far back and it has a very nice shape. Is the 450 a bag that sits in the front or did is it hidden (plumbed it as an overflow or something similiar)?
I don't think I have any pictures of surfing my neighbors 04 210 SAN but I will look. It might not be fair to compare the two as his is so much older than the current models. Bottom line is that wave is seriously legit. It might not be the biggest but it looks like it has a lot of push, a decent play area, and plenty of ramp. My buddies 210 can make a nice wave but I don't like it that much. It's steep but too short. (I think he needs more weight in the nose but he doesn't like extra ballast).
I am convinced that the Sport 200 is my next boat. As a percentage of things we do, surfing is the highest but I still need something I can run the course with. It seems that the Sport 200 is about as close as you can get with one boat. The Malibu VTX seems pretty nice as well, but I don't think the slalom wake is quite as good. -Marc

We just put the 450 in the nose, the nose of the boat does sit a little close to the water as a result, so you just have to be a bit more careful when going over waves.
Its not the tallest wave but its a very easy wave to ride, the 200 is pretty weight sensitive so the more weight you put in the better you get. We've have some great sessions with the boat filled up. With the right set up you can get a pretty long wake with nice shape.
Test one out and see how you like it, for a 20 ft boat i wasnt disappointed

How does the 210 surf wake compare to the G23?
My guess is it's much taller and longer?
My buddies 2010 210 had a nice surf wake, (sacked out with 750's, not sure about sack in the nose) but it always seemed big and tall but not long at all.
I'm sure the new NSS will add length to the 210, but how much?
I'm on the fence between a 2012/2013 210 vs a 22'-23' Malibu with surf gate.
thanks!

It's a 2000. This is with 750 in the rear port side with 2 fat brick sacks on top of that, 200-300 in the locker, full integrated bow sac( I think it's 600lbs). I also run a fat brick in the seat corner, on the floor and one in the bow port side. I also found running about 200lbs in the rear starboard side has lengthened my wave quite a bit(wider sweet spot). With that being said this is how I run with myself at 225, my wife @ 105 and two buddies @ about 180-190 which is our normal crew when surfing. With different people in the boat I usually just leave out the fat bricks and place people accordingly....
