    I have a 2010 210. My buddy has a 2011/2012 v226. The wake is a monster.

Video of the Superme V226 wave. Been trying to land that 360 all last year. I'll get it this year.

What boat would you purchase if you surfed all the time?
I do not surf much. But based on the few boats I gave surfed, I would put an Enzo or any of the MBs at the top. The X25 surfs well and I was in a modern san 210 that had a great wave. All had a better shape than my G23. But again, I am not a hardcore surfer.

Interesting. I like the G23 surf wave better than my previous SAN230 with extra weight that many seem to like. I think one of the things to note is that there are so many variables, weight distribution, NCRS setting, speed, etc. I know on my 230, it took a lot of experimentation to get it to be the best it can be. Not to mention, best is relative since everyone likes slightly different wakes... both surfing and wakeboarding.

With that said, you buy a G23 for its top notch wakeboard wake with just stock ballast. I think that is pretty unanimous. If all you cared about it surfing, I think it is safe to say there are other options.

I got a G23 because of the following:
Top notch wakeboard wake without additional ballast.
Tons of storage for the family and none taken up with bags.
          Top notch fit and finish.
Good surf wake - at least the one I rode was easier than my 230.

List out your top priorities and then find the boat that fits most of them the best.

Yeah lion90. Some really like the G23 wave and some don't. I've never ridden behind the G23 but have ridden in the boat as pros surfed. So many factors, such as; surf style or skim, rider size, rider ability, how the boat is weighted, etc. I think a person can take just about any boat and tweak it to their liking, however it won't please everybody. The thing that I liked most about the 230 was the ability to REALLY change the shape of the wave, but then again, we were using the NSS to change the shape. The NSS is the best! Hoping I can get it on my 210 before I take delivery. We run a wakesurf / wakeboard program in MN and the thought of giving kids more time on the water by not having to switch ballast over is so RAD!

My G doesn't have NSS since I ordered just before it was available. I am going to wait until the dealer gets a stock boat with NSS, test ride it and then see if it is worth the bucks to add it.
