2013 Sport 200 engine options, 343 vs 409

I've had a 6.0L in a 2011 and a 5.7L in a 2012. They are Ilmore engines but what you just described above is exactly what I experienced. The holeshot to 20 mph goes to the 5.7L however, after about 20 mph the 6.0 starts to come to life.

That's equating apple's to Oranges! Different hulls! Different calibrations!

Thats good to hear Jodi. The one thing I can say about my 6.0 is how smooth and quiet it was. We would drop at the end of the lake and I would sometimes think the boat had shut off it was that quiet.
