Let's all post up our best pictures for consideration for use in the 2013 PlanetNautique calendar. Let's keep the pictures Nautique-related, and please follow the rules below. The best pictures will be chosen for use in the calendar.
1. Keep it clean.
2. Users may post a maximum of THREE pictures for consideration for the calendar. If more than three are posted, the first three will be considered, and the rest will be deleted.
3. Please post your pictures in the best quality available. Sometimes this site downgrades the quality of pictures that people attach to posts, so please also e-mail me a hi-res copy of the images you attach. They can be sent to jeff@planetnautique.com. Please include your user ID in the e-mail message so that I can easily match the pictures to the user.
4. Obviously copyright rules apply; if it doesn’t belong to you, you can’t use it.
5. I reserve the right to add additional rules if deemed necessary.
A note about the process:
After the 2009 calendar pictures were chosen, certain people sent me some unpleasant messages because their pictures were not chosen. Please don't do that. Pictures will be chosen based on composition and on meeting the technical guidelines of the calendar (size, resolution). All choices will be final. If your picture is not chosen, try again next year. I am sorry to have to include this paragraph, but what happened in 2009 was the main cause of us NOT having a calendar in 2010. It didn't seem worth the trouble. Please don't put me through that again.
