The 2013 PlanetNautique boat is almost ready! Just waiting on some custom work being done at the factory...

I am planning to pick it up in early January (and hopefully drop it in the water down in Florida before bringing it home!).

very awesome teaser. question:can you even run the 550 in brackish or salt water? i'm curious what engines can be "coastal."

Thanks! I don't see why you couldn't run a 550 in salt. It is closed cooled.

Sure! I don't have a definite date yet. The designers at Nautique are still working on some finishing touches, but I'll let you know when I have the date.

Looks good. Is the red the metal flake?

No. We wanted a solid look front-to-back, and they wouldn't do Metal Flake on the front, so it is Victory Red.

I saw one Saturday that had blue metal flake as the forward stripe.....No sh$t!

Oh yeah, I am sure there are some out there that are totally customized. Have you guys seen this year's Billabong boat? It is a totally unique color all over, and all metal flake. There was limited time between the order date and the production date for this year's PN boat, so custom touches were kept to a minimum this year. It is going to be a SWEET boat though!!

My personal favorite custom touch that I have seen so far on a G23 is Bob Soven's. He has a BLUE DECK! The entire inside of the boat where most are white, his is blue! JD Webb has all black upholstery, which looks good, but would sure be hot, especially in FL.
