Belmont Lake, in Havelock. About 35min east of Peterborough...When Im not at the cottage with the boat, I also ride out of the Niagara on the Lake sailing club.
Awesome! Beautiful up that way. I've been on the Trent Severn through Peterborough Lift Lock a couple times with my Dad's cruiser boat, back when he had it up on Georgian Bay.
It's not much, but we love it and it's very easy to use. I think one of the most important factors is ease of use if it's not a full time home. How easy is it to show up, use it for the weekend and get out on Sunday without spending all day cleaning. We had intentions of knocking it down when we bought it and building a new one, but decided to do a couple of small renovations and just use it as is.
I definitely agree with the cleaning comment. The place we rented every year required it to be cleaned and it kinda killed our Sunday. Rules of the house help too (ex. no dripping wet in the house).
We rent ours out when we are not using it and we just charge an $85 cleaning fee and use a cleaning service so the renters don't have to worry about it on Sunday. Plus we know the place will get cleaned and made ready for either us or the next renter to use. So far noone has had an issue with the cleaning fee.

Where are you at? I'm on Cedar Creek as well at Enchanted Isle.
2008 210 SAN TE (Moonraker Yellow over Midnight Blue)
First picture is before - 6 or 7 years ago...we knocked down one of last few original cabins.
2nd picture is what we built.
3rd picture is view of back yard from deck. And yes, that was boat before I got the 2008 210 this past season.
4th picture is aerial of lake...lake is tiny 280 acres, but only great for watersports, and fishing. And little buck hill can be seen from pic, top middle.
I can't complain...wakeboard in summer, snowboard in the winter.
Do they live there full time or it's really only their lakehouse? That's not fair, I mean triple boat garage, 9000sq ft house with 4 garages, 1400 sq ft dock house, that's a few million for sure!!
Only down side is the tiny lake.

They live there full time. It is actually longer then most private ski lakes at 2,300'. It has a slalom course and north and south bound jump courses. Prices is $2.1 million.
