I had that problem before the Z5 was lowered - could only put a board in the bottom racks.

Sorry for taking so long to get the measurements. This is my busiest time of year at work. I was finally able to measure though. There is 1 1/2" between the Rev8 and the cross bar on the Z5. There's roughly 2" difference in diameter between the Rev8s and Rev10s, so the 10s might fit - since the cross bar is not directly below the speaker and you only have to worry about the radius (not the diameter). The lower hang height would be my biggest worry. If they don't fit in the stock location, I'm confident they would fit by moving the speakers more towards the middle.

Wow, surprised anyone would be willing to lower the Z5 further than it was originally. I was hoping that Z5 would come up with way to raise the bimini so you could actually walk under it without constantly ducking. Would have to be way to fit some speakers under along the sides of the tower it if raised a few inches.

I have speakers there also. I actually prefer the lower bimini. I'm not very tall, but the lower bimini provides better shade.

will the Earmark brackets move the Wetsound REV speakers back enough to avoid lowering a Z5?

Not sure who this was directed to? (or perhaps just a general question?) I don't have the Earmark brackets. Mine are mounted in the stock location. I'm not aware that Earmark is making custom brackets.
