      We are on Higgins Lake. 10,000 acres. On busy weekends, we have Coast Guard Aux., Sheriffs dept, AND DNR all patrolling the lake. But, this is on busy weekends. I wouldn't ride then anyways.

      They are usually chasing 38+' offshore boats. I'd venture to say that their wakes are as big, but they are much louder and faster than a wake/ski/surf boat will ever be.

        Where did you hear this? Can you retrofit a 2012 200? Or is it only for the 2014 or newer?

          This thread is about a great new technology. I was disappointed when I saw Malibu first put out the Surfgate, because I was hoping Nautique would do it. IMHO, Nautique just raised the bar because you can adjust this sytem versus the open/close of the Surfgate. Also, Nautique is really stepping it up by offering retro kits for the LINC boats already out there. Again, another thing Malibu is not doing. And Tige is not even close. The contraption that the Tige's have looks like a small school bus attached to the back of the boat!

          In a couple years you won't find a Nautique sold without this (okay maybe a DD 200). Simple technology that eliminates the "boat leans" should be celebrated. Again, my hat's off to the design team at Nautique. Way to go!! -Marc

            Any word on why a boat would have to have a LINC system for an aftermarket addition? No chance for push-button switches or another trigger control option?

                  Inovation sells and I am thrilled to see that Nautique is leading the pack in this area. That is exactly why I have switched brands. The cool part about Nautique is they work on both sides of the sport and excell at both. I'm a skier and I can't wait for my new 200 to show up.

                    This system works with other things controlled by the LINK system in order to shape the wave to the rider's preference. I would be very surprised if they offer this on boats without the current/future versions of the LINK system.

                      close....dont like being constrained the laws regarding operating a sea doo after dark. and for the record, my sea doo is a tool, so no reason to be embarrassed by it. i use it to wake skate or get to a place to wake skate...i leave the wally maneuvers to the people with no talent, haha.

                      but back on topic. cool approach to meeting the demands of the market...

                        A rogue wave killed 250+ thousand people a couple years ago as a tsunami and this wave could potentially have devastating effects on towed watersports, read what daniel is saying that is already happening around him. Think about your kids swimming off the back of your boat when a 4 footer suddenly comes by and your boat rocks violently, same thing if they are in a kayak, paddle boat, whatever. Ultimately it will have a negative effect and create regulation, that is inevitable. Not correct craft, mastercraft or any other manufacturers fault, but the consumer, user, trend or whatever you want to call it. We should all be more focused on creating less impact, not more, for the sake of the sport, until that changes we will all pay the consequences.

                          High Attitude, asbestos was a great idea at the time, so was irresponsible lending, look where those things got us. You say these surfers in the video are so great, OK, so is Andy Mapple and his runs are not nearly as long, same with any great barefooter. Less impact, more skill. It would be perfect if all the giant ballasted G boats or whatever acted responsibly.....good luck with that cuz it aint happening!! Like asking a tuber a jetskier to run in a straight line.

                              Wow did this get off topic. There are a ton of topics related the "waves are getting to big". I suggestion moving there.

                              The topic started as WOW is this one of the excellent innovative thing CC has done for the industry. They built a product that isn't going to rip the transom a part or a convex hull making a boat single dimensional. I could go on here, but will spare all you.

                              Does anyone know the working details. Will they have to flash the Linc system once installed?

                              On a side note. I send this to the wifey today. When I got home she wanted to know if we were trading the boat to get this. She wasn't kidding. I told her we could add to our existing. Her comment was did you see they only had 4 people in the boat an the size of the wave.

                                i just got around to the "how it works" video. does nobody else find it insanely lame that you have to choose between ncrs and nss? why can't they just add the "trim plates" to the boat and update the software? how come you have to replace the middle plates function? please correct me if i have this wrong.
