Nautique Surf System

I give it 2 months before there are multiple aftermarket systems available for any type of boat. All of these systems are really just mini trim tabs mounted sideways under the swim platform (or next to it).

Malibu figured out the action that causes the wake to shift, Nautique did a great job of doing the same but one step slightly better, now it's wide open to the aftermarket.

Does anyone know the working details. Will they have to flash the Linc system once installed?

Yes, there is a software update that allows for detailed control from the LINK. You would also need to add the wiring and the two devices to the transom.

i just got around to the "how it works" video. does nobody else find it insanely lame that you have to choose between ncrs and nss? why can't they just add the "trim plates" to the boat and update the software? how come you have to replace the middle plates function? please correct me if i have this wrong.

It does not replace the NCRS. Look at the picture on the first page of this thread. You can see both systems in place.

in one of my previous posts when asking i was told that yes it does replace the ncrs. they should clear that up b/c jeff(mckee not you) makes it sound once again like it's ncrs or nss. also, is that a prototype? because i saw all the wear marks on the tab.

If you watch the videos it states that on the G models ncrs and nss work together.

Its Nautique Surf System (NSS) yes all about the wake but most parents who are buy a boat because their kid wakeboards will love this because all parents love surfing. as the owner of a wakeboard school this is great news for me now i don't have to keep messing with ballast when i have riders switching from surfing to wakeboarding.

Looks nice, supposedly Nautique will announce it can be added to older Linc equipped boats; big plus there.

It wouldnt be to hard even if you dont have linc. You could just run it to a seperate toggle switch.

LINC is just a controller. Any add on control module can be made to do the same thing. Once I see if the mechanical hardware is compatible with an '08 230 hull, I may start looking to develop one. There are probably some phisical differences in the transom area between a '13 and an '08 230 that will make it impossible to retrofit the actual plates, but we'll see.

Nope. Only works at surf speeds.

That's significantly less than the MSRP, which I have been asked not to release yet. Maybe that plus labor would align correctly though.

I was told by my dealer that it is not going to be available yet however, for 2014 this will be an option and there should be a retro fit for any 200 sport with the Linc 2.0

I think the price 2500 if done while being built at the factory

I'm wrong, I think its 2600 if installed at the factory.,retro fit I think you would have to add labor to that price
