    Perfect Pass Digital Pro

Does anyone know where I could find a Digital Pro control box to upgrade from my wakeboard pro? My 01' Air Nautique needs it to help with my new Slalom addiction...

Are you running the course where you need to add magnetic timers? If not, Wakeboard Pro has "slalom" mode. What version is your setup?

No courses in this boat. I think it's 6.5 but all I know how to set is rpm mode. The pull is just too soft.

Had the same thing and switched it over to "Slalom" mode, worked much better. Use trick settings for the slow speed pulls.

Unfortunately mine is the older pre-2005 wakeboard pro with only the speed and rpm options. There is no slalom mode. Hence why I want to upgrade... Any ideas?

You could look for a Stargazer master module set up on ski-it-again.com, and swap yours out? If upgraded my '07 196 Digi Pro to SG for $200 from a used system. Now that people are swapping SG for Z Box, you may find a good deal on SG out there.

You can switch a mechanical Wakeboard Pro module to Digital Pro, with resets, I did this with the PP 6.5 installed in my ’99 MC. Contact Perfect Pass or review the manuals http://www.perfectpass.com/?q=manuals. You would just need a magnet sensor if your running through a course with magnets. Sorry, I don't remember the steps I did in '04.

Vtjc - did you swap modules? Or was it a flash of the memory?

If I remember from my wakeboard pro manual it says you can select either wakeboard or digital pro by pressing a couple of buttons.

This is what it says in the manual. Go through this on s wakeboard pro 6.5 then right at the bottom it allows you to switch to digital. Hope this helps

Resetting a Wakeboard Pro (System Reset) Version 6.5 NG (Graphic Display) You can do a System Reset by pressing and holding the ON/OFF & MENU keys together as you power-up the system (turning ignition ON or to ACC). Continue holding keys as the skier moves across the screen and system information is displayed. The following screen should now appear. NOTE if this screen does not appear turn off the ignition and try again, making sure to hold ON/OFF and MENU keys.

PerfectPass Control Systems Press the UP key to continue the reset

Press the UP key to reset RPM Baselines and speedometer calibrations to factory settings Press the UP if you have a standard engine. Press the DOWN key if you have a 6.0L or 8.1L NOTE: Message will vary on OEM versions

Press the UP key to display the speed in MPH or the DOWN key to display speed in KPH

Press the UP key to reset as a Wakeboard Pro or the DOWN key to reset as a Digital Pro

No new hardware or software, just reset to switch. NG = New Gauge, the double line display.

Any idea if this works on the older single line display?

Yes, it worked on 6.5 single line display. Where you able to contact Perfect Pass to get the steps? Jamie

To do a system resent, as soon as you turn on the key, you hold down Menu and On/Off for about 4 seconds until it beeps. It will ask you if you want to reset, and you select ^ for yes. On reset, select 3 event and you're good to go. As long as you are not in the course, you should not need the magnet sensors.
