2008 SV211 Wake setup for Wakeboarding

    Hi All,

Having come from a 2006 SANTE 210, I am finding it more difficult to get a nice smooth rampy wake for wake-boarding.
I have 3 daughters 13, 16, & 18 who are starting to try out jumping, (edging and switching all good) and we currently are finding the 211 wake a little steeper than we like.
I have tried ballasting the 2 rear tanks only, not the belly tank as yet.

Does anyone have a setup that pretty much works more for ease of wake-boarding (not concerned with getting it huge just yet) ??

    Thanks

Having only the rear tanks full is why the wake will be steep, either fill the belly or empty the rears. You can also use the hydrogate to change the shape of the wake. Feel free to give me a call 0800 SKI BOAT

Let me know when you are ready to weight it down heavily, I got the magic formula!

Front weight really mellows out this wake, put the hydrogate in ski mode also helps.

Great pics, will play around with the centre ballast, and the gate also and see how I get on.
Will be in touch when I want a massive wake like yours, outstanding !!

hmm...not the right phone number for wakeboarding advice...just kidding. Cabin fever kicking in, and the 70 degree weather this weekend isn't going to help.

I have an 08 211 and for surfing I fill both the port and centre tanks full, starboard rear is empty. I add a 400 lb fatsac in the port locker and a 200 lb fat sac in the ski locker and this gives me a good surf wake at 10 MPH (hyrdogate in ski mode also). If you can have the largest person in the boat sit on top of the hatch to the port locker, this really increases the size of the wake as well

Probably won't get as good as your 210 but in my opinion its plenty good enough
