    Shadow Casters!!!

We just put a set of SCM-10's on a 2013 210 and Holy Goodness they are bright! Plus they look way cooler than the factory Attwood's. Also this will be the Roswell boat for the boat show. Asside from that there is a pretty sick little lighting set up this boat has that nobody but us has installed in a marine application yet . I will just say it invloves interior LED's and your I phone or Android......

Looks great I'm wanting it do 3 on the back of our g23. My only hold back is I'm not sure where the NSS will mount and I don't want to have to move them.

I was at the boat show this weekend. They didn't have a boat with NSS on it but the G23 transom was designed with for NSS..the small step in your transom is where the NSS mounts..any place outside of the step and you're safe. I didn't realize that the only moving part on NSS is a small tab on the edge of the transom, the large molded piece is nothing more than a cover for the mechanicals.

I was at the factory last week and didn't even see one there.. I asked to look at one, but they're not in yet.

I have had the exact same blue shadowcasters on my boat for over 3 years. They are actually my second set of underwater LEDs after the first ones produced too narrow of a beam. I would be pretty surprised if your LEDs are much more advanced than anything we have been doing in California for the past three years. Maybe I will be surprised.

After having color chasing, DMX controlled, RGB LEDs on boats around here for the past few years I am pretty much over it. From now on I will probably stick with RGBs. Most controllers I have seen are junk or are too complicated.

If I were starting over I would use a remote on/off switch in conjunction with a simple 3 rocker color control panel to control non-chasing RGBs. Blue looks great but it's illegal and I have been ticketed for having blue lights. Blue and White attract bugs. White can be too bright at times. Yellow and Red are nice if they compliment the color of the boat (they don't compliment my blue and white boat). Green looks very cool too. One thing to remember is the lights need to reflect off of something. LED speaker rings or other lights on dark boats tend to be less than impressive. On a white boat they can be pretty glaring.

The app for the phone is really easy to use and is an instant response by the lights to anything you do on the phone. The Andriod has unlimited adjustability for color but due to Apple being who they are there is 6 or 8 pre set colors for the I phone. The lights in the kit are just bright enough to create a soft glow when its dark out. I think it works out pretty well.

I haven't heard of anyone really getting hassled here in Indiana for underwater light colors.

I have been using shadow casters for about 3 years. I don't think there is a better made, brighter light. I have two blue's mounted in a custom bar I had welded up. Mounts to the platform brackets and lights the surf wave up nicely.

I really think the quality of Shadowcaster is top notch.

Did you have to modify the hull to change the attwoods?

Those boats did not have factory Attwoods. If the hole isnt located correctly the SCM-6's that arent as wide would probably still be an option and an upgrade over the stock Attwoods. The Shadow Casters put out 250 Lumens per LED . We have not retrofitted a Attwood boat to SCs yet so I cant say.

The white covers are very clean looking! Our display boat will be about 6 feet up with working NSS controls on the ground.
