The boat was not evenly weighted. There were two larger people on the 230 middle bench seat, one somewhat big dude in the port rear, another somewhat big dude in the passenger seat (me), Byerly was behind me and Tommy Czeschin was behind him, Greg Meloon was driving (he's about average size), Brian Sullivan and Steve Carlton from Nautique were in the starboard rear (Brian and Steve are about average size), and my wife and two kids were in the bow. The boat was port-heavy. Of course, someone was riding at all times, so that makes the weight different for each rider. We were also running full ballast (ALL tanks, not just surf-side).
I can say that the waves were actually really nice, much better than I have seen in the past. The videos may not show it as clearly as it could be seen in person. Also, the ability to NOT shift everyone to the surf side was a huge plus.
