Phil Soven Dropped from Liquid Force!

There is a rumor going around that Phil has been dropped by LF. he is off the site as a listed rider. I guess when they pay you to go to promote at boat shows and you are "too hungover" to do your job they get sick of you. oh and that MTV show!

Wow no way! I dont know if his true personality is anything like depicted in wakebrothers, but if it is, I could see why. He didn't exactly exude class at competitions and he kind of seemed like a snotty kid who is full of himself. Then again he wins competitions. Did he actually skip a boat show just because he was hung over?

I know him and he is as bad as on the show. We were out last year in Chicago and one of the fake boobed bartenders knew my name because i live in Chicago and he said what the **** you are more popular than me here, if you hook it up with that girl ill let you be on my new MTV show. the next day he didnt ride in the rail demo due to being too hung over. it was bad.

Kmayotte - that's the 2012 Team.....on the LF's current site, when you look at the 2013 Team, he's not there. In a thread going on over at WW right now, he is rumored to have been seen riding HL.

I'm guessing he'll still be on liquids team, but they have such a huge payroll with some youngsters coming up so they may have decided to let him go, even though he wins consistently. it's all heresay at this point. I've only met him once and he had just turned 16 and was very nice. however, he is the guy that calls for re rides and all that jazz. if he changes teams he'll still be on top. parks used to ride a spray painted free motion board for a while until he signed with hyperlite. All things combined froggy is one of my least favorite riders, but his style has gotton much better in recent years IMO.

That's pretty bad. Think after a team dropped him he'll be a little more responsible? I'm not a huge fan of the guy, but I'd much rather see him grow up than become a hasbeen. That being said his brother truly is the polar opposite of him. Man I just love Bob's personality. He seems like a guy you could have a lot of fun with and he is still polite and not stuck up.
