We purchased a new Nautique G23 from Nautique Central NSW. As we already had an existing relationship with Steve from our 1st Nautique going back 5 years or so & he wanted to look after us personally. This is not to take anything away from Michael (the NSW manager) as he has been super helpful & couldn’t do enough for us.
So the boat arrives into Port Kembla dock on Sunday Dec 23rd. NC were supposed to be closed on Monday Dec 24th.........but Michael picked up the boat from the dock & called to say he would be back at Penrith in 2hrs if we wanted to come & have a look. We went to Penrith & Michael gave me the scissors to cut the wrap off. Obviously stoked.......we had a beer & put her away. Michael didn't have to do any of this, but he wanted to get it off the dock & locked away during the Xmas New Year break.
NC reopened on Jan 2nd & Steve came down to help with pre-delivery & a few options that were to be fitted here.
I assumed we wouldn’t take delivery for a week or so..................but Steve delivered the boat to us on Friday night the 4th. We had a few beers & then he spent Saturday morning with me making sure I was fully acquainted with everything. Delivery was supposed to be a surprise but Michael let the cat out of the bag.........not to worry as it was still a surprise to get it so soon.
I spent the remainder of the weekend running it in. longest 11 hours ever as the water was glass & 35 degrees & we couldn't tow.
The next weekend we were able to fill her up & go for it..........you have to see the wake for yourself.........just massive and clean. Photos don't give it justice........
Last week Michael picked the boat from our shed for the 1st service & to complete some add ons. & again Steve was down to help the boys out as they had a lot of preparation for the Australian open championships that Nautique were towing and also had 3 other boat handovers to do. We arrived to pick her up to find all hands on deck in the shop and after short delay (just enou8gh time for a beer or two) we towed her home.
We hit the water on Saturday...........& bugger........... the stereo & custom ballast system was playing up.
I called Steve for a few pointers knowing that he had his hands full with the tow boats for the Open which was on.
Guess what.........he said “I'll be there in 45 minutes”. Wow.........
After an hour or so of trouble shooting........two simple things were fixed & we're away again. Unbelievable service given the public holiday & the work load they had for the Aussie Open.
These guys are so casual........but when time comes to get something done its all hands on deck & it gets done even if it is after hours or public holidays.
I reckon you would go a long way to find an equal to these guys when buying a boat & for customer service.
Thought Id put this out there for anyone considering a boat purchase from a dealer & to let the Nautique Central Team know how grateful we are for what I believe is going the extra yard.
I'm sure this is normal for all their customers........but it did make us feel a bit special............
Thanks again guys..........
