Im wondering if the short pole in front of the engine cover of my 95sn can be removed. I dont think ill ever use it and it is in the way!

Yes this can be done pretty easily. There are likely two horseshoe collars wrapped around it and possibly a bolt going through the bottom center. If you lift up the motor box you should be able to access these. You will probably need a deep socket for the horseshoe bolts. Let me know if you want me to check the bolt size or snap a pic as my pylon is sitting in my garage. Make sure you keep all the hardware together so you have it if you ever want to reinstall it or to pass along to the next owner.

I'm not sure what the previous owner used to plug the hole in my floor but I have heard of some people finding the right size plug with an office furniture supplier and carpeting that.
