Anyone have the NSS wake surf system on a 210?

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try this full yet. I was out last night teach a few kids to wakeboard but my son demonstrated wakesurfing to them so I filled stock tank to full and then let all the pumps run another 2 minutes... far from full on the 1100 lb bag and not full up front but the wave was still super clean and even on both sides. I haven't replace the starboard tank yet with the 750 sac (it's not even piggy backed) so the port side had more weight than starboard.

I'm driving for a wakesurf camp this weekend so I should have a good excuse to max out the weight then. I'll post some pics.

I also have a 2012 with nss, Can't say I empty the surf side ever. I have bags over the hard tanks, I believe #400's. I fill the side we are surfing and the bag on that side. I also fill the center tank. Move people accordingly, usually to the surf side. It's not rocket science. I feel pretty strong that the nss makes a huge difference, wouldn't be hard to set up the boat and not use it to compare. But what's the point of wasting daylight and summer when that's what it's for.

I went out for a quick spin this afternoon and tried to set it up quick with 50% belly, port full and 1/4 starboard to ride on starboard side and wouldn't you know that the wave looked super clean. I am really surprised. I didn't ride it as I only had a short time on the boat and wanted to ride my own tested setup but if I have time tomorrow I will dedicate more time to it. The wave did look smaller and shorter than my usual wave though but still a fair size and really nice.

The only difference is that I have the hard tanks pulled so I have 1100s in each back locker and I plumbed in additional bag below the bow seats. When I say "full" above, I only ran the timers to full once and 50% would be the reading on the LINC.

If I get out tomorrow, I will try and take some pics too.

One thing I did try was creating a wave with no weight at all (no ballast). Without the NSS engaged... nothing but foam on the port side, starboard side had less foam. With NSS, clean wave, either side. I could probably ride it on a longer board but then again I'm only 130 lbs.

I have also found that when you don't add too much extra ballast NSS works easily without having to overweight one side or the other. I am definitely an NSS believer

yes i have it on my 2012 san 210. its ok if you want to surf w/ family and dont want to fill tanks. best just fill rear tanks and flip to side you want to surf. one fin thing is flipping goofy to regular on the fly and cross over. but to get nasty you need to slam the boat w/ sacs until your taking in water over transom and then kill it. no substitute for weight. i rode them all. everyone has a widget and good for recreational surfing but if you want to go beyond its slam it down.

Thanks, I have tried that same weight configuration but couldn't get it to work well unless my gas tank was less than 75% but I might be going too fast at 11.5mph. Also, when I go above 2 on NSS my wave lip breaks down. I need to try this at a slower speed.

I forgot to mention that we also had 3 people on the port side adding another 450-500 lbs. This is probably a big difference maker. The more weight I have in the rear port locker the more weight I need along the whole port side of the boat. Still learning and love hearing what others are doing.

IMHO, The best part about the NSS besides being able to switch instantly for goofy riders is how great it cleans up the wave.

Here is a quick shot of the port side wave. I'd say approximately 800 lbs in rear port locker, 500 lbs in starboard rear locker, belly full and bow sac under the seats maybe 400 lbs. 3 guys along side around 150 lbs each. Long, tall and clean wave. Love the shape of the wave over any others. Hydro gate at 1 or less and NSS at 3 or 4. This set up does require people to move sides when wanting to ride the starboard side but no need to adjust ballast.

Here are shots of my goofy wake. We can make it quite a bit bigger but this is with just my wife and I and our 2y/o girl. I have 1100lbs bags and the hard tanks pulled in the back. I fill port side just one cycle and starboard side 3/4 full. I fill the stock belly and additional plumbed in U-bag under the bow seats. If I can have one person on board sitting in the bow, I can really fill the bags and get quite the wave. I might throw in 150-200lbs of lead in the bow then I won't have to worry about that.

Haha, it's funny to compare north vs south sometimes. I put on a wetsuit top when the water gets BELOW 70 and you guys are taking your off when it goes ABOVE 60.
