I think it's too big, the lower hoop is about half the length of the 2001! I've seen a FCTII ('00-03,'05) mounted on 2001's and they look sharp. I think the angle of the windshield of the 2001 is similar to the SAN/SS lineup, so the lower legs tend to blend in better with the deck...

What about just getting an extended pylon? Then you don't change the nice lines of a classic boat. But it's your boat, make it the way you like it.
