Ok can you guys give opinion tint yes no

Just looking for general opinions... I have tinted all my boats previously. I just don't see a lot of nautiques... Also compared to my mastercraft the window sits higher... So while previously I never looked through the window it didn't matter... I have done 5 percent in the past leaning on doing 15/20 percent

Personally, I've never been a fan of tinting windshields. My '03 had a real dark tint when I bought it. It was ridiculous, you couldn't see out of the windshield and had to sit on the seat to look over the top. I don't get it. Needless to say, the first thing I did was remove that. Just my $0.02.

IMHO, your boat needs some tint, but 5% is dedication! You WILL NOT be able to see worth a flip at dusk/night conditions and will have to sit high enough to see over the windshield. 20-35% will give you the look without quite so much aggrivation at night. Also, if you don't have some kind of bimini up with 5% the glare of the dash can be pretty bad as well.

      To sum it up...
5% during the day without a bimini = no good! 5% at night = no good! 5% with bimini = no problems.

Here are some photos of my boat before and after. For reference it has 2.5%. Yes it is hard to see through in the conditions I listed above. Would I trade those cons for the look... Heck no! My boat would onlt look good with DARK tint. Your boat may get away with 20-35% though with the white deck.

I am not a big fan of because like said previously it kind of messes you up night vs day. I just go with sunglasses.

You will still need sunglasses. Reflections off the water can still hit you from the sides. IMO, tint is for looks only... there is no real function like you may get with a car.

I had 20% on my 210 that I sold. I didn't have any problems seeing at night or dusk and during the day it was enought to knock the glare off. Here is a pic for reference:

i would go with a 15 or 20% but not much darker than that. I like the look of a tinted windshield on a black boat.

If you're just doing it for looks, I'd say leave it as is, since it already looks baddass. More often than not, a tinted windscreen will hinder vision. Personally, I've only driven two boats with tinted windshields (both MC's BTW), but didn't like it at all. However, if the law allows, and you dig it, go for it. She's your baby!

I vote for tint.....I am biased. I have 25% and its great during the hot sun days but it pushes my level of comfort at night so I tend to push the seat back and stand when underway.

I would go for it. IMO I would run 25-35%. I have 35 on mine and its perfect. Visibility is still decent at night and it looks great!

After seeing the black boats with the tint I'm going to do mine. I'm thinking around 25% Cgues13 great looking boat I have a black and white 206. I'm curious what happend to the graphic on the side? Your pics on that thread show the graphic, the picuture you posted here the graphic is missing?

Also, funny all the stories about towing home in bad weather, I towed mine home in a snow storm.
