    Oh, not again! (Buxton's)

It seems that my only posts anymore are props for Buxton's. Well, they've done it again. Two of my buddies and I have bought Legacy Hull SANs from them over the past few years. I do all of my own work but one of my buddies just hauled his boat to Dallas for a yearly maintenance and inspection. He's had the boat about 1 year now and has put about 150ish hours on it.

I have driven a lot of those hours and have never turned the radio on. Not that I don't like music, but I'm more into concentrating on the rider and the driving I guess. Well, it turns out, the radio never worked because the AMP was bad when my friend bought the boat. Buxton's discovered the bad AMP on the inspection and when my friend told them it had never worked they are putting in a replacement for free.

My friend tells me "I will def buy my next boat from them" -yes, I imagine he will.

Thats great!!! Thats why the drop off inspection form is so important. It speaks volumes when someone finds something wrong with the boat and takes care of it you didn't even know was a problem!

I'm not saying this is what happened...just a comment about other dealers: Its funny that I've been on used car/truck/boat lots and find late model vehicles that need some obvious things "fixed" and the salesman says: Oh, if you buy it, we will fix it." And I wonder why don't they just fix the **** thing to begin with. Some of the vehicles are still under warranty. Then if you find something after you bought it, ...and the repair is on you....they don't even remember you.

Then you see a company like Buxtons. They just bought a life long customer for the price of an installed amp. I'm not sure customer acquisition could get much cheaper than that. Most cheap !@#%%( can't see past the end of the month.

And to think GoDaddy spent XX millions during the super bowl and gained probably.....well....maybe nothing. They might have even slipped backwards.

That bugs me the most when car shopping(or anything). Oh we will fix that especially if something is under warranty. Something that is totally obvious isn't fixed before a customer looks at the vehicle. If I see that whoever I am dealing with no longer has credability.

I've told this story before.... I own a Nautique because of Buxtons and ill never own another unless its something that Phil and his group sell. It's amazing how a little customer service goes along way. Way to go Buxton Marine!! I hope you guys continue to grow!

I could not agree more! I flew from Chicago to Dallas to see Phil and the team of people at Buxton's and ended up with a SAN 230 ZR450 AKA "BIG BLUE"! Best boat buying experience I have ever head. The boat look better for a 30 hour boat than the previous boat I bought brand new. I will buy again from Buxton's! Click image for larger version

I'm on my second boat from them. Those guys are awesome. Zach, I went to the boat show yesterday and yes they are killing it. Good for them, they deserve the business which I can't say the same for other dealerships around here.

I hope we do half as good as them. Our 5 year sales party went really well. We closed a lot of deals. We were running a $25 N3 credit per $1000 of boat purchased. A lot of customers had some serious coin to spend in the pro shop.

I wish my local dealer were as good as them...the sales process is ok but the service department is a big let down.
